1 - [netflix watch instantly - once upon a time] - maybe i am watching every episode again before the season premiere on september 30th. those of you who have not partaken of that which is ouat, repent, get on netflix, and soak in all the goodness that are all your favorite fairytales. [and prince charming's face].

2 - [twitter - @normaltweetguy] this twitter account cracks. me. up. they are just way average tweets that are extremely mediocre and not clever or original in the least. which is why they are fantastic and get me every time.

3 - [pinterest - star wars teacups] i can't even handle these. i need them in my life. like yesterday.

4 - [tumblr - just say amen already] a tumblr blog that shares the sometimes cynical, always hilarious real life ways of being mormon. credit to anna for the find.

5 - [timehop] get an email every morning with what you did on twitter, facebook, and or instagram on that day a year ago. they are pretty fun to read, i'm not gonna lie. it just shared this one and it made me laugh out loud for real. several times.

friday night crafts.

this is what a couple of girlfriends and i decide to do instead of go outside. all you need is some 'friday night lights' [read: matt saracen, tim riggins, the taylors], a quick trip to michael's and delicious ice cream to completely indulge in and not feel bad about one bit.

we did some homework via pinterest and shana saw this cool idea of painting a canvas, taping a pattern on it and then painting it white. it turned out amazing! as for me, i went for the classic decopodge collage with one of my favorite scriptures. i got the frame on sale at michael's for seven bucks! what up.

yep, i am just going to continue being a terrible blogger by giving a bullet point post right now. sorry i'm not sorry. but i will definitely be catching up with posts in the near future. [promisepromisepromise.]

• if we don't all know already, my sister niki is engaged and i could not be more happy or obsessed with her future. i may have cried for half an hour when they told me. it's fine.
• this means i will be coming out to utah in october! i am so excited, i honestly think about it all the time. it is going to be party central and crazy times will be had by all.
• i signed up for a half marathon, also in october. i'm pretty excited since it's been two years [almost exactly] since my last one. and it's in downtown dallas. cool!
• kind of on that note, i decided to give up meat for a while. it's not that i am against it, it's kind of the opposite actually. i find myself eating it a lot, especially when i eat out. so i'm just going on a hiatus for an indefinite amount of time. plus it's new. new things are fun.
• also going off treats and fast food for a bit. i just figure this will help with the half training.
• you better believe i pre-ordered the killers' new album, battle born: deluxe edition. i would rather starve for a week than not have that album as soon as i possibly can. [exaggeration.] [maybe.] [no it's not.]
• currently obsessed with:

3. going to bed before ten
4. my gasbuddy app [it has definitely saved me time and money searching for the nearest, cheapest gas.]

also, for those who are concerned for my health and well-being, i have bought myself some sweat resistant bug spray to protect myself from the thirsty and carnivorous mosquitos carrying west nile. fear not! i am prepared. like a boy scout.

well. i finished. and it was epically awesome. just kidding. not really. i went to cafe rio and yogurtland after i finished my last test to celebrate #duh. that part was epically awesome.
now i'm back in st george and i discovered i left both my laptop and scriptures in provo. what? how is that even possible? well it is. don't worry though. i didn't forget to bring my computer charger and scripture highlighter. awesome. this is called paying attention to detail.
so i probably won't get any solid posts in until saturday night. my friend is bringing my stuff down, bless his beautiful soul. until then then i will be reading, hanging out with my mother, and this guy:

so i recently started watching parks and recreation... which i also recently finished. 

it is so good! i think it's safe to say it is one of my new favorite shows. it is brilliant. i want to be every single character. seriously, i cannot decide who i love most. leslie is so inspiring, chris is so optimistic, andy is so genuine, ron is freaking hilarious, ben is such a cute nerd, and april/andy's relationship slays me.

i also want to live in pawnee. which is saying a lot because the north midwest has never appealed to me [sorry my minnesota friends]. not to mention it makes me super excited for my internship, because i am pretty sure it is an exact representation of an actual parks and recreation department. #sarcasm

i wasn't expecting to get so attached to this show. it has pretty much taken over my thoughts.

this kind of made me die of laughter.

so that's pretty much what i've been doing for the past week.

i also saw something borrowed over the weekend. twice.

i don't know why, i just loved it! actually, i will tell you why: 1) gorgeous man colin egglesfield. like. whoa. dude is hot. 2) his character had the best 'love eyes' slash facial expressions... i don't really know how else to phrase that but you know what i mean. 3) hilarious slash adorable man john krasinski. dude is hilarious in this. his mannerisms were brilliant. 4) the amazing men's fashion. seriously, everything those two wore was pulled right out of my future husband's closet. suits and preppy clothes. my cup o' tea. 5) i'm pretty sure i lived on the east coast in another life because it is my dream. i love everything about it. 6) i love watching best friendships. i remember when i was younger always wanting that one best friend who knew you better than anyone and you could call for anything.

this movie just made me think a lot. i still would go see it again. and i am definitely reading the book.

and oh my gosh. it is so good. better than i imagined. and addicting. and brilliant. and scary. but not too bad. but super suspenseful. and crazy. and makes me react in very dramatic ways. like yelling 'no!'. or covering my mouth in shock. or staring blankly in 'oh my gosh....'. etc. netflix watch instantly has become my best friend. thank you niki.


oh yeah and did i mention that this guy is the star? and that he's brilliant? and sensitive? and he throws away his entire life to break his brother out of jail? and he makes jail clothes look good? and he has a full body tattoo? and he can make origami swans? and his voice makes angels stop in their tracks? true story.
