this whole album, 25 by chicago, is my favorite christmas album as a whole. i have a lot of memories with my dad and this album. and, let's just be honest, my children will also know every word to every chicago song ever recorded.
'little drummer boy' is the first song on the album so i just feel like christmas hasn't quite started until i hear it. and it is so good. leave it to chicago to make this song amazing and repeatable. here is the live version:
