general conference

this april's general conference was amazing. the best yet. but i think that every year.

there's something so comforting about knowing that there is a prophet and apostles on the earth today who receive modern day revelation for the world we live in. everything they say is so prevalent to not only what is going on in the world but what i need to hear for my own life.

the peace and joy i feel from these messages is indescribable and priceless. it blows my mind to think that there are millions of people out there who don't know who they are, where they came from and where they are going. who don't know that they are children of our Heavenly Father and he knows us each individually, better than we know ourselves. that there are people who don't understand the importance and role of family, how it is the key to eternal happiness and how there are very real forces trying to destroy it every minute of every day.

i am so grateful for this knowledge that i have. so i can face the future with hope and faith, knowing that as i do [and have the desire to do] what is good and right, i will be where i am supposed to be, accomplish what i am meant to accomplish, and become the best possible person that Heavenly Father knows i can become.
