teach me how to jerk.

so i made this the other night and to tell you the truth, the only reason i bought jerk seasoning a little while ago is because i like the jamaican jerk pizza at california pizza kitchen. i didn't really know what it would taste like... but if it was anything like that pizza then that was a risk i was willing to take.
i pulled out the trusty george foreman grill [seriously, i don't know what i would do without it] that lauren so kindly let me borrow, threw on a chicken breast and let it do it's thing. then i started sautéing this key largo vegetable blend. i'm thinking that olive oil isn't necessary if you're using frozen vegetables cause the water does the same thing.
anyway, i put some jerk seasoning on both the chicken and the vegetables and voila, i had a yummy jerky meal in ten minutes.

Yum! I'm eating left over turkey meatballs and a sweet potatoe right now...and I'm not gonna lie--I'm feeling a bit sick to my tummy...this looks delicious!
